An idea for a State School Corporal Punishment Regulation Law:
Opt-in only. Both parents must meet the principal in-person in the first 2 weeks of the school year to opt their child into corporal punishment. Either parent may revoke said opt-in by a signed note, phone call, or e-mail.
Corporal punishment for students with disabilities or special education plans is prohibited with no exceptions.
All sessions shall be conducted in private. The student is entitled to request a witness.
No more than 3 strokes shall be administered in a day.
Either parent may sue the spanker at their discretion.
