"Ad blockers are not allowed on YouTube" "Ad blockers violate YouTube's Terms of Service" - How to block YouTube ads.
. Use Brave browser. The most convenient, but may become ineffective someday thanks to Manifest V2 being depreciated.
. Use LibreWolf for your desktop and Mull for your Android phone or tablet respectively. LW comes with uBlock Origin by default.
. Try downloading FreeTube for your desktop and NewPipe for your Android phone/tablet.
. Use Invidious, Materialious, and other ad-free frontends. I don’t recommend this anymore, as YouTube is blocking Invidious and Materialious.
. Use Mullvad DNS or NextDNS. NextDNS gives you more granular control, while Mullvad has a better reputation for privacy and doesn't require an account.
. Install adblock/firewall like piHole in your Linux operating system. You can also use adblock in your router, like OPNSense (X86-64 router builds) or piHole (Raspberry Pi and other ARM router/firewall builds).
. For Android phones and tablets, use NetGuard or Rethink. You can also search Reddit for alternative firewall apps.
. Download videos with Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express.

Bonus: engage is what I like to call Suppression Of Databroker Activities (SODA), by using data removal services like Optery. DeleteMe also has some good reviews. And delete your data from Google.

I’m going to make another article about why I block YouTube ads, which is a Moral reason to punish Google for censorship, as Google owns YouTube.
